Intake Process:
application-reference-interview
The Options and Opportunities program is a Department of Education initiative that looks to offer students an engaging and relevant high school experience. In order to apply, a student must submit an application form and teacher reference. If the student is an appropriate candidate, the student and parent/guardian will be interviewed by a panel which would include The Lead Teacher (Ms. Campbell), another O2 teacher and a high school administrator.
Here is the application form and the Powerpoint presentation shown to all Grade 9 students at the beginning of the intake process, which typically starts in January and ends before March break.
