Welcome to Career Development 11!
In order to facilitate better communication and to keep students and parents more informed, we will be adopting some strategies used in a Digital Classroom. We will be
accessing Edmodo, which is a web based social media platform, designed for education, to keep up to date on assignments an course content.
All students will be creating an Edmodo presence in class and will sign in to my course with a course code provide in class. There will also be an option for parents to sign in to the course, to keep abreast of all that is happening.

Finally, The last comprehensive component to our Digital Classroom will icloud
computing. Owncloud is a web based storage site that is being supported by
The Nova Scotia Department of Education. Each student has the capability
to store work in their cloud. If you are familiar with cloud computing,
you can also download this app or visit the web site. Students will be
able to share and submit work to me from any location that has internet.
If this is not familiar to yu, I will be walking students through the process in
class. This will be a new process for myself as well, so we can all learn
together.
